Incident Summary:

05/08/2017: Assailants opened fire on a United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) convoy near Yogofongo, Mbomou, Central African Republic. At least 13 people, including five peacekeepers and eight assailants, were killed and 10 other peacekeepers and an unknown number of assailants were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Anti-Balaka Militia.
