05/19/2017: Assailants attacked joint military and Rapid Support Forces (RSF) personnel in North Darfur state, Sudan. This was one of two coordinated attacks in the area on this date. There were an unknown number of casualties in the ensuing clashes, which continued until May 22, 2017. The Sudan Liberation Army-Minni Minawi (SLA-MM) claimed responsibility for the incident. Sources also attributed the attack to the Sudan Liberation Army - Transitional Council (SLA-TC).
