05/31/2017: Assailants threw a hand grenade and opened fire at a police patrol in Kiziltepe, Mardin, Turkey. A police officer and an unknown number of assailants were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
