06/07/2017: Assailants attacked a mining site and abducted 61 people in Dongu district, Haut-Uele, Democratic Republic of the Congo. All 61 hostages were released a short time later. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA).
