06/17/2017: Assailants abducted a village guard in Yeniaslanbasar, Sirnak, Turkey. The hostage was killed shortly after the kidnapping, and his body was discovered two days later on June 19, 2017. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
