06/19/2017: A suicide bomber rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into a police van on the Champs Elysees in Paris, France. The assailant was killed in the attack. Adam Dzaziri claimed responsibility for the incident and pledged allegiance to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in letters mailed prior to the attack.
