Incident Summary:

06/21/2017: Assailants attacked a security post in Gurziwan, Faryab, Afghanistan. This was one of six coordinated attacks in Faryab overnight. At least three soldiers, two civilians, and nine assailants were killed, and four soldiers and nine assailants were injured across the attacks. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Taliban.
