Incident Summary:

06/26/2017: Assailants attempted to attack the Botolan Municipal Police Station in Botolan district, Zambales, Philippines. There were no reported casualties as security forces repelled the assault. This was one of two coordinated attacks in the area on this date. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to the New People's Army (NPA).
