07/03/2017: An explosive device detonated near Turkish Land Forces soldiers and Turkish Village Guards members in Cukurca district, Hakkari, Turkey. At least one soldier was killed and one village guard was injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
