Incident Summary:

07/05/2017: An assailant opened fire on an Egyptian Army tax collection station in Al-Ayyat, Giza, Egypt. At least three people, including two retired soldiers and one active-duty soldier, were killed in the assault. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources suspected that the attack was carried out by the Islamic State in Egypt or breakaway factions of the Muslim Brotherhood.
