07/12/2017: Assailants, including suicide bombers, attempted to attack Peshmerga forces in Muthalatha, Nineveh, Iraq. At least 17 assailants were killed as security forces repelled the assault. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
