07/13/2017: Assailants abducted a civilian, Liudmila Surzhenko, at an illegal checkpoint in Stanytsia Luhanska, Luhansk, Ukraine. Surzhenko was tortured before being released on July 29, 2017. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Luhansk People's Republic.
