08/18/2017: An explosive device detonated targeting village guard personnel in Semdinli district, Hakkari, Turkey. One village guard was killed and another guard was injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
