09/01/2017: Assailants armed with knives raided an internally displaced persons (IDPs) camp in Banki, Bama, Borno, Nigeria. At least 11 people were killed and two people were injured in the attack. An unknown number of people were also abducted, and the outcome of the abduction is unknown. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to Boko Haram.
