09/01/2017: Assailants opened fire on a police bus in Zewan, Jammu and Kashmir, India. At least one police officer was killed and seven officers were injured in the attack. Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) claimed responsibility for the incident; however, police officials doubted the veracity of this claim and attributed the attack to Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM).

Criteria 1
