10/10/2017: Assailants opened fire on a Malian Army post in Labbezanga, Gao, Mali. At least one soldier was killed and six other soldiers were injured in the assault. Jamaat Nusrat al-Islam wal Muslimin (JNIM) claimed responsibility for the attack. Sources also attributed the incident to the Islamic State in the Greater Sahara (ISGS).
