10/10/2017: Assailants armed with an explosives-laden vehicle attempted to attack a military outpost in Yamteke, Gwoza, Borno, Nigeria. Sixteen people, including a soldier and 15 assailants, were killed and an unknown number of others were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
