10/14/2017: Assailants attacked an Iraqi Army headquarters in Tall Safouk, Nineveh, Iraq. Sixteen people, including five soldiers and 11 assailants, were killed and 13 soldiers were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
