10/14/2017: Assailants, including an unknown number of suicide bombers, opened fire on a military checkpoint in Arish, North Sinai, Egypt. At least one assailant was killed in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Sinai Province of the Islamic State.
