10/18/2017: Assailants attacked Pombolo, Basse-Kotto, Central African Republic. At least 26 people were killed and 24 people were injured in the ensuing clashes with Union for Peace in Central Africa (UPC) fighters. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to an anti-Balaka militia.
