10/26/2017: Assailants raided Ruwenzori in Beni, North Kivu, Democratic Republic of the Congo. At least five civilians were killed in the ensuing clash with security forces. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF).

Criteria
Criteria 1

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
