10/28/2017: Nine assailants abducted Rajendra Mahato in Darla, Jharkhand, India. Mahato, a local Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, escaped shortly after the kidnapping. This was one of two attacks targeting Mahato on this date. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents.
