Incident Summary:

10/31/2017: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vest targeting a diplomatic quarter in Wazir Akbar Khan, Kabul, Afghanistan. In addition to the assailant, nine people were killed and 21 people were injured in the blast. The Khorasan Chapter of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that the attack was carried out in retaliation for an alleged American airstrike on a religious school in Nangarhar province.
