11/02/2017: Assailants attacked joint military and village guard forces in Derecik, Hakkari, Turkey. At least 13 people, including five assailants and eight security personnel, were killed and two soldiers were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
