11/09/2017: Assailants attacked 18th Infantry Battalion soldiers in Cabengbeng, Sumisip, Basilan, Philippines. At least six soldiers were killed and four other soldiers were injured in the incident. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG).
