11/10/2017: Assailants opened fire targeting Muhammad Salim Albuhar al-Qumayshi, the Shabwah Elite Forces commander, in Al-Hutah, Shabwah, Yemen. At least two people, including Al-Qumayshi, were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).
