11/12/2017: Assailants opened fire on the campaign publicity team for Barsha Man Pun, a Unified Communist Party of Nepal: Maoist (UCPN-M) parliamentary candidate, in Iribang, Province 5, Nepal. There were no reported casualties in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, authorities suspected that the attack was carried out by the Communist Party of Nepal - Maoist (CPN-Maoist-Chand), which denied involvement.
