11/18/2017: An explosive device detonated targeting a vehicle carrying Major General Muhammad al-Husayni, a Central Security Forces commander, and two other officers on Al Khazzan street in Arish, North Sinai, Egypt. Husayni was unharmed and there were no other reported casualties. The Sinai Province of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the incident.
