11/28/2017: Assailants attacked a police convoy escorting passenger buses along the Lamu-Malindi road in Nyongoro, Lamu, Kenya. At least two police officers were killed and two officers were injured in the assault. This was one of two related attacks in Nyongoro on this date. Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the incident.
