Incident Summary:
12/02/2017: Assailants opened fire on police patrol vehicles in Binuang, Daguit, Camarines Norte, Philippines. A police officer was killed and six others were injured in the attack. The New People's Army (NPA) claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that the attack was carried out in response to the Communist Party of the Philippines' (CPP) call for increased attacks against the Duterte regime. The NPA also stated that the attack was in retaliation for military operations in Labo, Camarines Norte.
