Incident Summary:

12/02/2017: An explosive device detonated near the vehicle of Malak Ameer Rehman in Olai Shah, Ambar subdistrict, Federally Administered Tribal Areas, Pakistan. Rehman, a pro-government tribal elder, was not harmed as he was not in the vehicle at the time of the blast. The Jamaat-ul-Ahrar faction of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack and accused the victim of serving American interests in Pakistan.
