Incident Summary:

12/02/2017: Assailants attacked the Yemen Today station headquarters in Sanaa, Amanat Al Asimah, Yemen. At least seven people, including three guards and four journalists, were injured and 41 employees were taken hostage in the assault. Four hostages died of their injuries on December 12, 2017; the fate of the remaining hostages is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Houthi extremists.
