Incident Summary:

12/17/2017: Assailants attacked four commercial trucks and NGO vehicles on a road near Mogayat, Raja, Lol, South Sudan. At least eight people were killed and five other people were injured in the assault. Additionally, six HealthNet and Solidarity International aid workers were abducted and all six hostages were released on December 20, 2017. The Sudan People's Liberation Movement in Opposition (SPLM-IO) claimed responsibility for the attack.
