12/25/2017: Assailants attacked a military detachment in Maitemaig, Datu Unsay, Maguindanao, Philippines. At least ten assailants were killed and five others were wounded in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Movement (BIFM).
