12/26/2017: Assailants opened fire on a military checkpoint in Afgoye, Lower Shebelle, Somalia. At least two civilians were killed and one civilian was injured in the attack. Additionally, there were an unknown number of casualties among assailants and soldiers in the ensuing clash. Al-Shabaab and Jabha East Africa separately claimed responsibility for the incident.

Criteria
Criteria 1
