12/30/2017: Assailants attacked a military installation in Kanamma, Yobe, Nigeria. At least five soldiers were killed and an unknown number of others were wounded in the attack. Additionally, at least 30 others were reported as missing in the attack. The Al-Barnawi faction of Boko Haram, also known as the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), claimed responsibility for the incident.
