Incident Summary:

12/31/2017: Assailants armed with grenades and firearms launched a fidayeen (suicide) attack on a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp in Lethapora, Jammu and Kashmir, India. At least three assailants and five CRPF officers were killed and three CRPF officers were injured in the assault and ensuing clash. The Afzal Guru Squad, a subgroup of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), claimed responsibility for the incident.
