12/31/2017: An explosive device detonated targeting a Burundian African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) and Somali National Army (SNA) joint convoy in the Industrial Road area, Mogadishu, Somalia. At least two people were killed and three people were injured in the blast; the victims included soldiers and civilians. Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the attack.
