Incident Summary:

01/05/2018: Assailants detonated an explosive device and opened fire on a military vehicle between Tayein and Kyunbauk Pyusu in Maungdaw district, Rakhine, Myanmar. At least seven people, including six soldiers and the civilian driver, were injured in the attack. The Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that the attack was carried out in response to the poor treatment of members of the Rohingya community in Myanmar.
