Incident Summary:

01/23/2018: An explosives-laden vehicle detonated outside of Bayaat al-Radwan mosque in Al-Sleimani, Benghazi, Libya. This was one of two coordinated car bombings that occurred within 30 minutes of each other. At least 41 people were killed and 80 people were injured across both blasts. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Shura Council of Benghazi Revolutionaries and the Barqa Province of the Islamic State.
