Incident Summary:

01/25/2018: Assailants threw two petrol bombs outside the Prakash Theatre in Belagavi, Karnataka, India. There were no reported casualties in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, police identified and arrested five members of Sanatan Sanstha in connection with the attack. The group denied affiliation with those arrested. In addition, sources suspected that the attack was carried out to disrupt a screening of the controversial film "Padmaavat."
