02/01/2018: Assailants opened fire on a vehicle in Patikul, Sulu, Philippines. Two people, identified as Muksin Kaidin and Mukim Kaidin, were killed and four other people were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG).
