Incident Summary:

02/09/2018: Assailants opened fire targeting Brigadier General Bassam al-Saad in Ain al-Hilweh, South, Lebanon. Al-Saad, a Palestinian Joint Security Forces commander, was not harmed; however, at least one bystander was killed and an unknown number of people were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Bilal Badr Group.
