02/18/2018: Assailants set up a fake checkpoint and opened fire on an Iraqi Volunteer Forces convoy in Saduniyah, Kirkuk, Iraq. In addition to an unknown number of assailant casualties, at least 27 volunteer fighters were killed in the attack and ensuing clash. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident.
