Incident Summary:

04/02/2018: Assailants equipped with firearms and knives raided the residence of Farooq Ahmed Parrey and Naseer Ahmad Sheikh in Hajan, Jammu and Kashmir, India. Parrey was not harmed; however, three people were injured and Sheikh was abducted in the attack. The hostage was killed shortly after the kidnapping. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), which denied involvement
