Incident Summary:

04/16/2018: Assailants armed with firearms raided the Aridos Mardones gravel factory between Vilcun and Cajon, Araucania, Chile. There were no reported casualties, though over a dozen vehicles were set on fire in the attack. The Arauco Malleco Coordinating Group (CAM) - Chile claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that the attack was carried out in support of Celestino Córdova, a Mapuche leader jailed for arson in 2013, who was on a hunger strike at the time of the incident.
