Incident Summary:

04/16/2018: Assailants intercepted an observation patrol of the United Nations Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO) and fired warning shots in Tifariti, Es Semara, Western Sahara. There were no reported casualties and the patrol resumed their activities. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Polisario Front.
