04/20/2018: Assailants attacked Bimpanga Gold Mine in Bimpanga, South Kivu, Democratic Republic of the Congo. At least three civilians were wounded and two others were held hostage during the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Raia Mutomboki Militia.
