Incident Summary:

05/20/2018: An explosive device detonated outside the residence of Bhim Poudel in Damak, Province 1, Nepal. Poudel, the local Ward Chairperson, was not harmed but at least two people were injured in the blast. The Communist Party of Nepal - Maoist (CPN-Maoist-Chand) claimed responsibility for the incident and had issued a threat to Bhim Poudel due to his involvement in the eviction of civilians living illegally in the Damak market area.
