05/31/2018: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle at a joint National Directorate of Security (NDS) and police base in Gereshk, Helmand, Afghanistan. The assailant was killed and three people were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
